BIOGRAPHY

From these photos, then from these photographs, some correspondences seem to emerge: places, beings and traces of their passage, sometimes distant, where construction and destruction coexist.

Through the search for a photographic narrative, which is unique to me, I tend to give form to all these upheavals, these changes, these transformations. Since 2018 I have oriented my photography towards black and white which seems to me to better tighten what I am trying to express. A light which exists and is revealed only in the presence of a deep darkness. I often think of Caravaggio who painted luminous bursts piercing the darkness of his canvases with their intensity. Going towards the unfathomable, the unknown while preserving this part of the unattainable which protects the subject and keeps the entirety of its mystery.
